151 Card Shows With Free Admission — Here's Where

Card Shows Nearby

Of the 327 upcoming shows currently listed on Card Shows Nearby, 151 charge nothing to walk in the door — 46%. Free admission doesn't mean a small show, either: several of the biggest ones on the list, including a 450-table show in Georgia, don't charge a dime.

Free shows by state

Free-admission shows show up in 33 different states. Florida has the most with 21, followed by Pennsylvania with 20, Ohio with 12, New York with 11, and Massachusetts with 10. Georgia, Indiana, and New Jersey each have several as well, and even states with only a handful of shows overall — Wyoming, Kansas, New Mexico — have at least one free option on the calendar.

A few worth knowing about

The Commerce Card Show in Jefferson, GA on October 10th–11th has 450 tables and free admission. The Clearwater Bay Area Card Show in Clearwater, FL (Oct 2nd, 90 tables) and the Susquehanna Valley Mall show in Selinsgrove, PA (Oct 4th, 70 tables) are both solid mid-size options with nothing at the door. Smaller free shows are just as common — Jc's Sports Card & Pokemon in Batavia, NY runs monthly with 45 tables and no admission charge.

Why so many shows are free

Most organizers running a free show make their money on table fees instead — charging vendors $30 to $150 for space, then letting anyone walk in and shop without paying twice. It's a common model at VFW halls, Elks lodges, and community centers, which is exactly where a lot of these shows are held.

Don't assume — check the listing

"Free" always refers to general admission; a table still usually costs a vendor money, and some free shows still charge for early entry or VIP hours. Always check the specific show's listing before you go, since admission policies can change between now and show day.

Free admission is common enough on this site that it's worth checking before you assume you'll be paying at the door.
