Halloween Weekend Card Shows: 26 Options Oct 30–Nov 1

Card Shows Nearby

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and the card show calendar noticed. Card Shows Nearby has 26 shows running somewhere between Friday, October 30th and Sunday, November 1st, spread across 14 states. Saturday is the busiest day by far with 19 shows, followed by Sunday with 12 and Friday with 3. None of the listings are billed as costume events, so don't count on a themed show, but plenty of collectors will be in the mood anyway.

The big ones

The biggest show of the weekend is the Sports Cards, TCGs & Non-Sports Card Convention at the York Expo Center in York, PA, which lists 700 tables, runs both Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm, and costs $10. In Lexington, KY, the Sports Cards & Collectibles Show at the Kentucky Horse Park runs Saturday from 9am to 3pm with 315 tables and free admission. Pennsylvania has two more large ones: the Chester County Card Show in West Chester on Sunday (300 tables, $5 at 10am or $10 for 9am early entry) and The Best Flippin' Card Show at the Valley Forge Casino in King of Prussia on Saturday and Sunday (275 tables, $10).

More 200-plus-table options

Rocky Top Card Fest in Knoxville, TN runs Friday evening and all day Saturday with 250 tables for $10. The Madison Card Show in Madison, WI has 250 tables on Saturday for $5. On the West Coast, the OC Card Show in Costa Mesa, CA runs Saturday and Sunday with 250 tables, with general admission at $10 and early admission at $15. In Oklahoma, the GG2 Sports Cards Show at the Stoney Creek Hotel in Broken Arrow runs all three days with 200 tables and free admission, and the Hollywood Casino Sports Card & TCG Show in Grantville, PA has 200 tables on Saturday, also free.

13 of the 26 are free

Half the weekend's shows don't charge admission. Besides Lexington, Broken Arrow, and Grantville, the free list includes shows in Greensburg, IN; Tampa and Vero Beach, FL; Allentown, PA; Liberty Township, Newark, and Kirtland, OH; Chamblee, GA; and Cheyenne, WY. Lake Mary, FL has a free 25-table show on Saturday as well.

If you only have an evening

Two shows work for an evening instead of a full day. The Major League Collective Show in Collingswood, NJ runs 4pm to 8:30pm on Saturday with 125 tables and $6 admission. And on Friday the 30th, the Hard Hittin' Card Shows event at the New Britain VFW in Connecticut runs 5pm to 10pm for $5.

Shows on Sunday, November 1st

If Saturday is spoken for, Sunday has 12 options, including York, King of Prussia, Costa Mesa, West Chester, Tampa, and Allentown. There are also smaller morning shows: the Woburn Weekly show in Massachusetts (8:30am to 12:30pm, $3), VB Cards in Methuen, MA (9am to 1pm, $2), and the Georgia Collectables Show in Chamblee (free, 9am to 3pm).

Hours, prices, and table counts come from each organizer and can change, so check the show page for the latest before you go.

With 26 shows in 14 states, there's a good chance a Halloween-weekend show is within a drive of you.
